Parents – Don’t Forget You Need Vaccines as Well!
When my daughter-in-law was expecting her second baby, my husband and I heard that we should have a pertussis booster, to protect the newborns until they could be vaccinated and build up immunity. We had the pertussis booster, and we have kept up with our yearly flu vaccines, have had the shingles vaccine, and keep up to date on everything else we need. Our health, as parents and grandparents, can affect the health of our children, and we also want to be around to enjoy them!
